The Regent has been one of the Hawkesbury's most iconic venues for almost 100 years, providing an entertainment hub for locals and tourists alike. Initially established as a theatre for live shows, the venue now shows the greatest new (and old movies) as well as an array of live events. With a diverse offering in an evolving market, The Regent tasked us with igniting their digital presence, improving both the customer experience as well as internal operations.

What we did
We were tasked with facilitating the launch of a brand new website for this iconic cinema. Utilising an appropriate platform, we were able to launch a website that is centred around online bookings but also provides additional pages with relevant business information. We built upon the look and feel established in the logo to create a professional and modern presence for this growing brand.

The Regent is an exciting brand that always has so much going on. With movies changing every week and countless events in the pipeline, it was important to post at a frequency that would provide followers with all the relevant information without bombarding their timelines. Finding this balance allowed us to share an array of content types, ranging from education to engaging.
Paid Ad Campaigns
Organic efforts can only generate so much reach, so The Regent regularly utilises paid campaigns to create more awareness and sales for specific events. We set up, manage and optimise the businesses Meta ads, utilising A/B testing and detailed targeted to ensure we're reaching customers with the highest purchase intent.
Email marketing is an incredibly valuable tool that generates consistent results for The Regent. We create and schedule weekly emails that highlight upcoming movie sessions as well as events and also provide updates on the business. These emails build upon the look and feel established on the website, providing a clean layout and seamless user experience.
The Regent recently revamped their candy bar menu, now offering a range of waffle choc tops, alcoholic beverages, combos and snacks on top of the existing cinema essentials. We were tasked with creating digital menu boards to present all these items clearly. We used dark backgrounds to align with other brand elements but to also make the menu items really pop and stand out. With so much to display, we created a series of slides that animate in and out. This also allowed us to use these screens to advertise upcoming events.
Many of The Regent's customers are part of generations that prefer not to engage too much with electronic media. WIth this in mind, there is an opportunity to create awareness for upcoming events or sessions with traditional marketing methods. In this instance, we created flyers to promote The Regent's 'Morning Tea at the Movies' sessions.
We also revamped The Regent's outdated paper gift cards, creating a professional plastic card that is functional and on-brand. These cards offer a physical alternative for those that don't want to purchase an E-Gift card.
With so much changing in the market, we were tasked with creating a comprehensive marketing strategy that could ignite their organic efforts, accelerate growth and to improve brand recognition. We completed extensive market research, which involved reviewing competitors and identifying target market segments. From here, we were able to make recommendations for growth and prosperity, creating a roadmap for success. As with any strategy, we utilised an array of relevant data to reinforce our recommendations.
